๐Ÿ”ฎ How we've adapted to the AI future

With this blog post, we're looking back at an incredible journey of constant evolution propelled by advancements in AI technology over the last year ๐Ÿ˜ต

The rapid emergence of AI tools and integrations changed the dynamics of our workforce. While we increased our productivity overall, we had to reduce our team size and let talented people move on.

And as our AI-driven personal accounts began outperforming the corporate content, we realized the importance of personal brands in the new "Intimacy Economy." As a result, we've shifted from brand-centric educational content to a stronger focus on our personal messages.

If you want to read more about our gained insights and learnings, or if you are in a similar situation, this summary of our last months is for you ๐Ÿ‘‡

๐Ÿคซ Big announcement coming next week

Slowly but surely, we are approaching the day of days. If everything goes according to plan, then we'll be back next week with a banger ๐Ÿงจ

keeping up with AI

๐Ÿค– Meta AI projects to keep an eye on

๐ŸŽค Meta's MMS:

Imagine an AI model that's like a hyper-polyglot, able to understand 4,000 spoken languages and spit out responses in over 1,100 of them. Meta is working on realizing this with their Massively Multilingual Speech (MMS) project. They're open-sourcing MMS to help save endangered languages and allow others to build on their work.

๐ŸŒก๏ธ Meta's ImageBind:

If you thought AI just played with words and images, think again. ImageBind pushes the boundaries by linking text, visuals, and audio with 3D measurements, temperature data, and motion data.

As a human, you take in the sights, sounds, and other sensory experiences around you, using them to make sense of the world. And ImageBind is attempting to do something similar, but with AI. It takes in chunks of data and uses them to generate fully realized scenes.

๐Ÿ“„ ChatGPT news and updates

๐Ÿ‘› ChatGPT Beta features available to all Plus Users:
OpenAI recently rolled out the ChatGPT Beta features to all Plus subscribers. So if you want to test new plugins and features such as ChatGPT Internet Browsing, all you got to do is buy the premium package.

๐Ÿ‘จ‍โš–๏ธ AI Senate hearing with Sam Altman:
Chances are that you came across the 3-hour-long Senate hearing with Sam Altman regarding AI and its regulation. It's an interesting opportunity to hear the visions and fears of both sides. If you don't want to spend 3 hours on this topic, here is a condensed version by Matt Wolfe.

๐Ÿ“ฑ ChatGPT App in App Store:
Roughly two weeks ago, OpenAI launched its first mobile app on the App Store. Almost immediately, the application was among the most downloaded FREE APPS. If you are looking for the App, be careful because some fake copycats are already out there.

An Android version of the app is also to follow.

๐Ÿ‘จ‍๐Ÿซ 10-minute recap of Google's I/O 2023

If you missed Google's 2023 I/O event, which was packed with new announcements and technological deep-dives, this 10-minute recap is your best place to start and follow up on the recent developments ๐Ÿ”ฅ

And if you want the entire 2 hours experience go ahead and grab some popcorn ๐Ÿฟ

๐Ÿ“œ Meta might be launching its Twitter competitor soon

Meta is developing a new social media app, referred to as "Barcelona", that aims to compete with Twitter. The app, designed under the Instagram brand, will allow users to post text-based updates, similar to Twitter, but with an interface closely resembling Instagram's. In addition to text, users can attach photos, videos, and links to their posts ๐Ÿคณ

One key advantage Meta possesses is its vast user base, with Instagram boasting over 1 billion users compared to Twitter's roughly 400 million. With the ability to join the new app without needing to create a new account, Meta's entry into the Twitter-like social media space may gain traction swiftly, depending on user reception to the platformโ€‹ ๐Ÿค”

๐Ÿ–Œ๏ธ Adobe Generative Fill

Adobe ended this month with a banger announcing the implementation of "Generative Fill" into the Photoshop application. Which allows users to generate content directly into their Photoshop files via simple text prompts ๐Ÿ˜ต

But Generative Fill is only one of many AI-driven features that Adobe has added to its products over the years to keep it's Creative Cloud relevant. And we are looking forward to seeing what they are developing next.

If you want to see the new feature in action, check out the hands-on tutorial and explanations from our lead designer Julie ๐Ÿ‘‡
